Our History
Our roots trace back to the mid-1970s, when we were established to meet the supply needs of Jesco, a construction and maintenance company supporting the growing power generation industry in the Southwest.
In 1988, Southwest Power Tools was acquired by Quadco LLC, an oilfield sales and service company serving the oil and natural gas industry throughout the Rocky Mountains and Alaska.
The Bigger Picture: SolstenXP
Today, Southwest Power Tools is part of the SolstenXP family of companies, which owns both Quadco LLC and Southwest Power Tools LLC. SolstenXP is a well-established energy services provider, with a strong presence in oil and gas operations across the U.S., particularly in Alaska and the Rockies.
Quadco LLC, founded in 1966, has a long history of supporting the industrial, oil & gas, mining, and power generation sectors with equipment sales and field services. In 2016, SolstenXP acquired Quadco LLC, bringing it under the SolstenXP umbrella alongside its divisions, which include Hercules Deadline Anchor Company LLC and Southwest Power Tools LLC.
